comet is just A CRITTER!!!!! he's a silly dog from outer space!
if you want to get technical about it, his species is called laikans!
they're an alien race with humanoid and canine traits!
some say they're descended from old soviet space dogs~
comet here came from their home planet in a distant solar system, hoping to meet his ancestors: earth dogs!
